To be honest I have found limited household applications for this and more commercial ones. The green laser is excellent and easy to see and the distance reading is accurate. This is great for commercial usage for long runs of hangers for piping. Also the laser doesn’t wash out as much in high lit locations as the red ones do. I like the case as well.

A quality tool that was short on instructions. As is typical with DeWalt this came is a nice carrying case and the case includes a place to store extra batteries for convenience. I did need a screwdriver to pry the battery door open and then I needed to adjust one spring to get it to hold the batteries. The laser itself is sturdy and I am convinced that the slightly padded corners and edges will protect it. Mine came without a manual which created a problem since I am not an experienced user. I did find the manual online which was somewhat helpful but not detailed. Fortunately, use is somewhat intuitive. I initially used it by placing it on a ladder at the desired height and then swiveled it to place dots along a wall. The self-level feature meant that I didn’t need to worry about that. Once done I checked it with a 6 foot level and it was perfect. So I used this as a substitute for a laser line level, which I don’t have. The plumb feature works as intended. You can hang it on a metal stud with magnets or it will hook on a nail into the wall or wood stud. I intend to continue to use this as a substitute for a line level for the time being. The green light was very visible even in a well-lit room. So overall, a helpful tool for big projects or long distances where handheld levels don’t work well or when working alone.

The 360* Self Leveling Laser Level is a great product overall. The self leveling mechanism works great and would make any project easier. Both the vertical and horizontal lines show up well and project around a great distance. The only flaw I have noticed is one of the magnets is weaker than the other one which can make attachment less than perfect. Overall great tool for a multitude of uses.

RECEIVED 3 SPOT LASER LAST WEEK AND WAS IMPRESSED BY EASE OF INITIAL SETUP AND USE. COMES WITH A STURDY CASE AND BATTERIES.MY FIRST GREEN LASER AND I CAN SEE WHY GREEN IS THE COLOR OF THE FUTURE IN LASERS. EASY TO SEE AND DOESN’T GET LOST IN BRIGHTER LIGHT. IT IS 1/3 SMALLER THAN MY OLDER DEWALT LASERS.GREAT VALUE AND WILL BE VERY USEFUL IN LOCATING CAN LIGHT LOCATION ABOVE CABINETS.

I have had many beam lasers over the past 10 years. The DeWALT DW08302CG is a great addition to my tools. The accuracy is on point for the applications I used it for. I verified this by using the trusty plumb bob. The green laser is super easy to locate in a well lit environment. Another great feature this has is the shock resistance up to a 3.2 foot fall. I tested this feature accidentally and it was still as accurate as the first time i used it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. It is great for contractors or home owners. Very easy to use, and has a nice small case to store it in when not in use.

I think it will take a while to learn when/where to use this. The one obvious application is to replace a plumb bob; should work well, and enables accurate single-person use.A drawback is that there are no instructions: just a few pictures.Very sturdy, and the spot is very visible.

Works great in trim work love the green lines more than the red lines. I used others but did not like just a dot. This unit produces vertical and horizontal beams at the same time. Line goes about 25′ in length.

I received this laser few weeks ago. It has came in handy in many Jobs and tasks so far. Made layouts for top and bottom plates for walls extremely easy. Helped with tile flooor layouts also. I prefer the green laser now due to the ability to see the laser better in many different lighting situations. The locking pendulum is a great feature when the laser is switched off. Laser stood up the job site and dust. Good run time a normal batteries. Over all for a 3 spot laser level this would be my go to choice.
