Works great for what I need. Works great indoors, I.e., no direct sunlight. It works great outdoors away from direct sunlight. If working outside in the sunlight, the light is visible at short range onl, depending on ambient lighting. Even outdoors in the evening, I’m not certain the beam could reach 165 ft. Most of the range I use has been 60 feet or less.

Been wanting to buy one of these for a long time. It was time buy my own and stop borrowing one from work. Finally pulled the trigger and don’t regret it one bit. I wanted this one specifically Bc I like how the magnet makes it convenient to mount most anywhere. The green laser is very bright and very easy to see.

For the price, this worked great. For reference, my yard is 25′ long, and the laser was visible in all corners in all but direct sun. If you’ve got a much larger yard, or need to use a level no matter what the weather conditions, you’ll need to invest in a more expensive rig.

Got this to level some cabins and i was not disappointed! Very small, easy to use and helpful. Set it up, turn it on and work. Worked very good under a cabin with the slight shade. Batteries seem to last a long time and with the ability to bring an extra set in the case would easily get me through a long day, even with it be on the whole time. Which is almost never needed but nice to know it will do it!! Paid for itself on the first job forsure, well worth its weight in gold.

Took me a while to get organized as far as how to attach/fix the tool before using it but turned out to be fairly user friendly with multiple options available. Purchased the tool to mark lines on plywood installed on ICF walls in my garage and was very helpful. Found the lines thick enough on the wall. Tool very easy to use.
