I bought these bits and drivers to use with my new Dewalt cordless drill and impact driver. They are good sets in rugged cases.

If you every feel like you dropped a screwdriver or got to a location that the bits you have just wont work? This set is a one package solution to your utility set you have been missing.

Just what I ordered

These serve as great general purpose drill bits. Often we use a small bit to drill starter hole in heavy metal, the stair-step tip on the larger bit then maintains an accurate center for the larger hole. With a little care drills a good hole in most materials except masonary.

I use these for Wood/brass/nickel-silver and aluminumSome steel as well. I do not have any problems with these bits.I usually wind up shorting the bits for my application in small (limited) spaces.for replacements, The price of an individual bit that matches the set is too high compared to buying the entire set.I would love to have individual of 3/8s if the bit wasn’t nearly half the price of the entire set.which could replace older or missing bits from sets.I go through 1/8 bits as well, but I buy them by the 2 pack, which isn’t as bad as the 3/8The pilot which drills deeper than the rest of the bit is nice for starting, but a lot of my applications don’t require this. I think a smaller pilot tip would work just as well. Overall it’s the one I buy.

They don’t walk when youre starting the hole. They cut quick through steel. No complaints, worth the money.

My project required the accuracy of drilling four 1/4″ holes in the quarter panel of an antique car without any paint chips or any two of the holes being off center to each other. The project was finished without a flaw!

I got the 21 piece set to cover the incremental sizes that I use for woodworking. The bits are sharp and I like the titanium finish and the pilot on the larger bits. The case design makes it really easy to insert and remove the bits.

They are very good quality drills

Bits are strong and long-lasting. Got Milwaukee but that did not last a week.

The 1/2″ and the 3/8″ drills broke on the first hole when drilling by hand thru 3/16″ cold rolled steel square tubing. The material the drills are made from is brittle and not tough. The step in the drill point causes the outer diameter to grab when it breaks thru. Overall, the set is a good value if you carefully feed it when breaking thru.

Actually, I only really wanted the magnetic bit holder sleeve since I hosed my old one, but this was an awesome deal for the set. I have a set of the pilot point bits and they are the best – no shimmy trying to drill a hole without a center punch. They stay sharp, I’ve had the other set for a long time and they’ve gotten a workout. I’ve never been over the top crazy about the Dewalt #2 Phillips bits – they always seem to slip on drywall screws. Would seem to make sense to me to put a quarter inch nut drive in the set for driving sheet metal screws, too, but who know…

I had trouble putting the small bits back into the case.

I have been using these bits for years and they are very good overall They are mostly good for wood they will do light metal. I would mainly stick to wood with these bits.

The drill bits are great quality. But i hate the pilot point it does not center its self having the flat cutting surface. They are not a good buy for general use i would not buy them again i will stick with the old style of bit.

Perfect! Exactly what I wanted. Very convenient and easy to keep organized.

These were on sale and were extremely inexpensive, otherwise I would have given them just two stars. The bits are all straight, and seem to be sized correctly, but the titanium is just a very thin coating on the outside of the bit. This wears off eventually, and also means the bits can’t be sharpened. So if you want an inexpensive set of drill bits and plan on just replacing them when they lose their sharpness, then this is a good value. But if you’re looking for a set that you can use for many years, sharpening them as needed, look elsewhere.

This drill bit set is perfect. The bits in my old set couldn’t get the jobs I needed done, but these are able to withstand any material I need to get through. It is a big set with great sizes too! This is the best set I have owned and at an affordable price!

I have an old set off these and finally broke enough over 15 years or so to replace them. These are not my every day, drill every hole bits though. These are my when the hole needs to be drilled in an exact spot, at an angle in metal or anytime I need it perfect. No need for a pilot hole or even a center punch for these bad boys. They stay sharp a very long time too. Only thing that sucks is you can’t re-sharpen them. To many of them get dull or broken you buy a new set.
