my thinking is this if you do need a drill like this often then corded is best in that the battery will degrade over time. not so with a cord .as well yes the battery type is more compact but the battery takes room in back. the cord takes room but it is flexable and thin compared to the battery and has much more power…

Worked very well for my DIY building project. Only complaint was the drill gets very hot. I found that I had to be very careful not to cover the ventilation holes while using it. It seems to me they could have designed the vents so they wouldn’t be covered while you use this drill. Other that that it worked great!
