I need it to drill hole in the water pipe and the sale person recommended this .it was not as good as I expected. So I am I little disappointed. Thank you

Hit or miss with this drillbit. I can occasionally get quite a few holes with these bits but this time no. Drilling through 3/8″ steel it locked up and twisted the cut down shank making a wobbly mess. We always use lubrication, pilot holes, low RPM. I do not like the luck of the draw method.

It made a nice clean hole in my steel door for my peep hole to be installed very easily. After installing mine my son is going to put one in his door to his garage. Very pleased. Thank you

I needed to install some barrel-bolts on some commercial steel doors; the steel jambs needed large holes drilled for the bolt to lock into the jamb. The bit worked well in a hand-drill going into the mild steel of the door jamb — I did drill a smaller pilot-hole to start, but the big bit cut well.

Professional auto technician and needed to drill before installation of Heli-Coil to repair threads. Worked great and stayed sharp throughout the needed 4 holes.

This thing went through ground lumber like butter. Amazingly sharp.

Worked great, on the expensive side though. Needed to drill out a handful of 5/8″ diameter holes to install a 2″ receiver onto the car. If possible use a large drill with a handle because this bit can torque up quite a bit drilling through metal. Wear your safety glasses because you never know.

Good quality, and nice to have a larger size bit that is not so long. Drills perfectly smooth holes in the birch plywood to be used as a new top on my WorkMate.

Was able to use the right size to drill holes for the plastic water line for the water softener system.
