these can be finique to set. but hold well once you get the correct depth set. They are very useful when you need them.The stop is a bit big for using on drywall.Home Depot online has the best price by far of anyone on these.

I typically love all things Dewalt and found the concept of this tool incredible, in fact I ordered several due to some large projects. The main issue was that once I set it, the impact driver’s power will cause it to adjust itself to maximum. using it with a drill with it set with lower resistance should do the trick however and give you an incredible tool. They really need to change the packaging to remove the impact driver as an option though. That being said, this has a ton of potential to be a go to tool.

This simple tool makes setting screws on a deck or any other project very simple. Some people have not rated this tool well because they use the tool with an impact driver, it’s designed to be used with a power drill. On a large deck I have set probably 2500 screws and they’re all set to exactly 1/32 below the wood. It allows you to ignore over Drilling and simply just push on the drill pull the trigger and it will automatically stop driving at the right depth. I would recommend this to anyone with a deck project. You will need to experiment with the first few screws to get the depth you need then tighten it Up and Away you go, you might have to readjust when you wear out a bit and replace it.
