The drill performs very well. Plenty of torque to handle whatever task that I have when I do my woodworking projects. The chuck key has a tendency to slip a little when trying to tighten the drill bits. Bit of a knuckle banger. Therefore the four stars rather than five.

I’m installing a new whole house humidifier on my furnace and I bought this drill so that I can drill two 3/4″ holes in my furnace ducts. Although I’ve never tried to drill holes this large thru metal before, I was surprised how easy it was for me to do so with this drill and the handle was helpful with the large drill bit that I used! I’m certain that my new drill will be a valuable addition to my tool kit!

Tool lasted about a year on a factory floor used alot through the day drilling through steel chassis. Armature shorted out and burned the brush spring so catastrophic failure. It took alot of abuse lol Would make a good drill for garage use or light construction.

Drill was ordered for home delivery. The drill was not put into a suitable shipping box. Rather a shipping label was just slapped in the display box and sent out. The display box is not sturdy and arrived crushed and beat up. Surprisingly none of the small parts were missing from the box dispite one end of the display box being open. The drill itself was scuffed up but seems to operate OK. The photos on the HD website show Made in USA. The drill I received was made in Mexico.
