There is no doubt that the Dewalt bits are pretty good. I’ve used them for years and they have always delivered. The “rapid load” holder is a clever little tool that makes life easier when you need to constantly play with a wide variety of bits. The content is pretty rich and would suit most weekend and serious DIYers. Note that there are quite a few duplication (6 screw bits #2! see picture.) The case is disappointment. First, there are two bits that do not fit into the case: where are they supposed to go? More importantly, it does not close! I had to play a little bit, and I had to detached some parts in order to close the case. Part of the point of buying a set rather individual bits is to organize them and this kind of fail. Finally, the holders for the drill bits are a massive pain (fine to take off, a frustrating process to put back.) Completely unusable with safety gloves. Anyhow, it is still a good deal, there are quite a few elements here and each bit is pretty solid!

The carrying case itself measures just under 8″ x 5″ x 2″, which makes it very easy to toss into a tool bag for transporting to the job. It’s made of durable plastic, and has a secure sliding lock. Contains six titanium drill bits with hex shanks, ranging from 1/16″ to 3/16″. Has two sets of drill/driver bits, with both 1″ and 2″ lengths. Also comes with Rapid Load magnetic pivot holder. Great assortment in a compact space.

Im really finding this Magnetic Compact Rapid Load Set has a good variety of pieces to efficiently complete most household jobs. Its perfect because it has a variety of commonly used pieces. Because its rapid load its very easy to move from piece to piece without slowing down. The drill bits are very easy to change out quickly because of the rapid load feature. I can easily pre-drill a hole and then switch out to the correct bit head to drive the screw into the pre-drilled hole. The case on this set is much higher quality than previous cases. I really like the visual marking on the lock that lets you tell from a glance if the set is locked or unlocked. Overall for the cost of the unit I am very impressed with the set of tools it provides.

I am a huge fan of these DeWalt bit sets, and this one is awesome. This magnetic compact rapid load 35 piece set has it all. Drill bits, phillips, flat heads, and much more. I now have about five or six of these sets and every homeowner or fixer- upper needs a good set of tools. Also, the magnetic feature is a huge plus to have for your bits. You don’t know how useful it is, until you have it. I definitely recommend this set.

Everything works great as all my dewalt things do. Read about drill bits coming out of holders but that’s all speed and feed. Let the bit do the work and you will be fine. Nice selection.

I bought this for the rapid load. This works as expected. This bits that fit into the rapid load should be machined with more precision to fit tighter. But this works when nothing else on the market is out there.

Has many uses but it appears to match up will with my battery operated drill. Has many different bits and drivers that I am so glad in came with a case so it could be carried along with my drill in bag I keep the drill and charger in. I have used some of the drivers already but have yet to use any of the drill bits but expect them to work as well as the drivers do.

The DeWalt 35 piece rapid load quick change accessory system is a good “go to” set when I have projects around the house. It has the commonly sized 1″ and 2″ screw bits (even 1 nice 3.5″ #2), 6 titanium drill bits (1/16″x2, 3/32″, 1/8″, 5/32″, 3/16″), 2 magnetic nut drivers (1/4″, 5/16″), 2 spade bits (1/2″, 3/4″), a magnetic drive guide, and a rapid load holder. Everything I need for small jobs. I like the rapid load magnetic holder which holds 1/4″ hex shanks and 1″ bit tips since it allows me to change bits and drivers in my DeWalt hammer drill/driver without having to spin the chuck. On the downside, the rapid load holder adds another 2 3/8″ (+ length of screw bit or drill bit of length) to my tool which makes it unusable in tight spaces. In tight spaces, I usually use my impact driver, so having hex drill bits is super handy. At first, I mistook the rapid load holder for the handy pivot holder (pictured on the package under “also available” from DeWalt), so if you need the super-helpful pivot holder (which I already had), it’s not in this package. I’ve used and have many DeWalt drill bits, max fit chucks, etc and they have a decent life. This package is a good value, but the plastic case is not as nice as others DeWalt has provided. Also, it doesn’t close properly (the screw bits and top of spade bits hit the drill bits). DeWalt also provides a few screw bits that don’t have a home in the case, and while that’s great, you don’t want them knocking around in the case dulling the drill and spade bits. Overall, a good set for small jobs and decent value.

The kit is loaded with stuff, just grab that and you have everything for almost any job!

Nice set. Comes with more than one of the same size bit. Helps if you lose one, but I’d recommend replacing with the missing #2 and #3 flat head driver bits instead.

This is a great bit kit for various drivers. You may need more sizes of drill bits, but those provided are fairly popular and meet my specific needs for mounting various equipment to panels. There are a few different sizes of phillips bits, so you shouldn’t have a problem matching the right driver/bit size for your application. The magnetic holder also locks the bit in place, which is absolutely perfect when driving multiple screws in succession. My previous bit kit did not have locking bits, so the bit would get stuck in the screw head from time to time after tightening and then fall out of the tool. It was very annoying, but now that problem is solved with this kit! The only problem I have with the kit is that it can sometimes be difficult to close it and lock in place because all the bits must be pushed down far enough so they don’t block the lid from closing. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and usefulness of this kit, a must have to go with your electric drill/driver.

This is a very handy drill/driver assortment. All of the most popular sizes are included. 1/2 and 3/4 inch paddle bits are also included. There is a rapid load bit holder that makes it easy to change from bits to drivers without having to use the chuck, a nice time saver. The drill bits are titanium and very sharp. The driver bits are magnetized, another nice feature. So often while working in tight spots, I needed a magnetic bit to hold the screw securely, and now I have that. I would have given this kit a 5 star rating, but the plastic carry case isn’t durable. The first time I used the rapid load bit holder and went to return it to the case, one of the plastic snap holders broke off. The bits and drivers alone, though, get a five star rating.

This DeWalt Bit set (Model DW2530) provides many of the hex driver bits most DIYers will need, plus a few more in a sturdy case. All the bits are engraved with the bit diameter (for drills) or the driver size (e.g. P2 for Phillips #2), although they are hard to read on the drill bit shanks. Two nut drivers are provided (1/4” and 5/16”) as well as an extension and a nice Rapid-Load fitting for use in DeWalt’s 7-in-1 Screwdriver handle. It all comes in a sturdy plastic case with configurable bit holders. The bits are easy to remove from the case and a bit more difficult to insert, but they hold tight and that’s the important thing. Both extensions are magnetic, so they grab and hold the bits in place, and the Screwdriver adapter (which can be used in any drill chuck or 1/4” hex driver) has an excellent push-in-to-lock mechanism that’s a pleasure to use. Unlike some other adapters, there is no sleeve to pull to insert/lock the bits – just push. The sleeve is pulled BACK to release the bit, which I find easier than adapters where you push FORWARD to release. The kit includes 6 drill bits in 5 sizes, including 2, 1/16” bits – which is good because you can easily break those tiny bits just pulling them from the case. The two spade bits (1/2”, 3/4”) are nice, but I suspect most DIYers have a complete set of space bits as one rarely needs just those 2 sizes. The only real change I would make is replacing the three slotted driver bits for Torx (star) bits. Slotted screws are notoriously difficult to drive with power drivers, and Torx-head screws have become fairly common. Still, at this price I can’t begrudge the selection and the kit will meet the majority of needs for a long time to come.
