I’ve hung over 100 sheets of drywall in my remodeling experience, but always used a cordless drill, not a screw gun. With this gun, once the screw depth is properly adjusted, you can go 100 miles per hour, setting the screw depth into the drywall perfectly on each shot. My battery powered drill is really too heavy. This gun is much lighter and especially appreciated on overhead work. Also, if you choose the right drill-tipped drywall screw, you can effortlessly screw into metal studs and metal furring channel, just as fast as into wood studs. Great DeWalt product, like everything they make.

Since it was only bought a week ago, I have only used it a couple of times. So far it works as expected and I do recommend this product. It speeds up the process of hanging drywall.BTW, I the description above says it’s a Scrugun. I wonder what that is?
