Bought this saw as my other one quit,got home to finish the job and got the new saw out,,guess what? No blades come with it,a nice bag to put it in but no blades!Guess that’s my fault for not paying attention but you would think they would give you a blade or two.So I guess it’s back to Home Depot to get some blades.If you buy this saw be sure and get some blades to !!

No assembly required. It’s a little heavy but it is worth the weight. I looked at several jigsaws and this one was a solid jigsaw and not flimsy like some of the others that I looked at. The others had a little movement in the joints where you change the angle. There was enough movement where it could and would change the blades angle of attack. The Dewalt did not have any movement in those areas. Solid!

Nice tool. Solidly built, heavy due to metal construction not all plastic. Disappointed that it doesn’t have a light to illuminate the work piece. Every other DeWalt tool I own, and that is many, have a light. I need it more on a jig saw than I do on a drill. I find this annoying.
