I bought the jig saw a few years ago. I find it excellent. Not one problem, not one hassle with anything and I bought it RECONDITIONED! This was my first wood cutting electric tool. Now I carve and use a DEWALT planer as well. The jig saw doesn’t get too hot even when going thru 2 inch thick wood for a bit of time too. I do scroll work. I love it that you are not cornered into using one type of shank design. It holds them all, Exceptionally tight. DEWALT has served me well and will continue to do so in my opinion.
