I’ve ripped a lot lumber for strapping ceilings, walls. this thing certainly makes things neater. Today I ripped about 40 1″ strips from PT 2x4s. You obviously have to adjust the fence each time but it’s quick. My ripped boards look like they were milled in a sawmill.

There is nothing wrong with the fence except it does not fit the Ryobi one+ that the service rep suggested it for. I didn’t know that until I took it to my shop area to mount it, so I have ripped off and disposed of the packaging. I’m not happy about the whole process.

Bought this without a clue if this would fit either of my Dewalt cordless saws, turns out it fits one the DCS578 Flexvolt 7.25”. It does not fit my DCS393 6.5” 20v. I’ll share measurments of the fence so you can check your own equipment, its 5/8” wide and 1/8” thick, length isnt the issue but overall it is 12 1/4” long. The included screw is an M6x1.25 1/2” long which does fit both saws mentioned. The fence slot on the 393 is only 7/16” wide too narrow for this fence. I dont own any other Dewalt cordless models but the shoe looks very similar on the 575 60v and the 570 20v. If this simple device fits its a great thing to have and it really expands the capability of the saw, only wish it was painted to match the shoe.

Standard product. Does what it’s intended to do. It is disappointing that I had to order it on line given that no new saws come with them in the box. To me it’s inexcusable that these are not stocked at the store!
