Based on the reviews, I was a bit skeptical how this would perform ( eg: some users report how the blades would not stay in while the saw was in motion.) So far I have not had the problem as long as the shank of the “T” style blade is inserted all the way. I am happy with variable speed which served me well during a recent project.

Very quick delivery even just before Christmas. The only thing I would suggest is dewalt actually have a blade in with the saw. It says it did but it definitely did not.

I bought this Jig Saw and heard that it was a Kit. What does that mean to DeWalt? Absolutely nothing. No blades, No accessories of any worth and certainly no quality in Service. The Jig saw didn’t have a retaining screw for a saw rip guide. Something that I expect to be part of the Jig Saw. Their technical support didn’t know where it was or what size it was. So sad that the DeWalt name has fallen on bad times.
