Have had this Jig Saw since 2009. Did comparison with Bosch and felt that DeWalt won hands down. Convenient, easy to use, easy to adjust the base for any angle; convenient and predictable speed adjustment; accurate cuts. Super easy to install and change blades. I am home owner so reliable tools that last are for me. I have many DeWalt products and have had one cordless drill since 2006. “Guaranteed Tough” is no joke.

I finally replaced my very old Dewalt saw with this one. WOW The tool-less blade change alone made it worth it for me! It cuts straight as an arrow, adjust easy, not too heavy….just an awesome saw. The plastic shoe really works when you do not want to mar the surface your working on and is easy to take off when doing roughing work. A great saw!!

I had a different brand jigsaw that didn’t work very well and didn’t last very long, but I could tell immediately the better quality in this one. I buy dewalt products exclusively and have had nothing but good luck with the tools that I have purchased. It’s actually kind of upsetting because I haven’t been able to update to the new 20volt system because my old 18volt tools have held up so well.

I upgrade from a $120 makita 3.9 Amp Variable-Speed Jig Saw and HOLY SMOKES this thing is infinitely better. It cuts faster, smoother, and the blower motor that blows sawdust out of your sight line is a godsend. The keyless blade change is also hugely appreciated. Well worth the extra money.

This jig saw is amazingly well balanced, very smooth and has sufficient power. The handle is very comfortable and the quick blade connect is fabulous. If it has a shortcoming, it’s that it doesn’t have a light. Dewalt, put a light on it and you get a perfect score!

I have had this jig saw for several years now and it keeps on ticing. I received it from my kids when we started a complete remodel of our house.
