Gun worked well. I liked how easy it was to adjust nail depth. I used my brother in laws gun while re-doing his roof. Worked great, so I bought one for myself. I did another roof job and had the same great experience. The trigger is very sensitive though. I fired double shots a few times.

Overall a decent gun. Very seldom jams.however it has a tendency to double tap very often. The second nail. always goes in halfway which means I have to stop and either pull the nail or drive it in.this kills any time I may save by using the gun. Would not recommend this gun to anyone in a hurry.

Had a small layover to try this out on (5square), now, I’m not sure if this performance was effected due to it being a layover and not a new roof or if was just the guns shortcomings. I had the guns pressure (on a small compressor) set at just below 120psi (recommend) and the nose adjustment maxed out depth wise and still had to hammer 3-5 nails out of 8 per shingle ,due to sticking out. I dont know if itd be possible to add more depth adjustment via the nose tab non adjuster or not(just a suggestion) I DID like the included quickchange hose adapter, alittle attention to a small detail that helps get up and running right out of the box helps.The basket seemed to work well and not seem so cheap and flimsy. Which can form ones opinion about a gun in and of itself.Overall seemed well built (sturdy) so it would last and take some abuse.The added rubber bumpers for non-skid or slip are nice thought wise even though they dont work the higher the pitch goes, it still counts that you added them to show attention to detail.

I am currently using it to reroof my shed and am well pleased with it. I bought it a few weeks ago for this purpose. It took me awhile to learn how to use it but once you know it is easy. One problem I have with it is I sometimes get a double tap, or two nails with one trigger pull.

I used it to re-roof my house and it saved a lot of time for sure. It was light weight and easy to use however i had a couple issues with it – it tends to double nail and also using the dewalt 1 1/4 roofing nails specific to this nail gun, they jamb”ed up often but fairly easy to clear.
