Excellent tool. Better than many others. I especially like the adjustable spacing gauge and the easily adjustable depth setting. Some nailers have spacing gauges that can only be set to specific detent positions, and cannot be used when trying to match spacing on an existing roof; this one can be set to any position, and works great.

I got this a week ago and just in time for a large 2 roof job. It’s very easy to use no directions and it’s also very quick to reload with a pin pull and just push in. Another nice thing about It is the rubber sides, I’m annoyed when I work on higher pitch roofs and it slides these rubber sides make it softer to drop and stop the sliding. Haven’t had a problem yet would defiantly recommend

It’s a great gun. Have only used a few times but I like the way it feels and shoots! The only problem I have had with it is when I went to tighten the gauge on it the bolt stripped out and is a little loose but no big deal other then that it’s a good roofing gun!

After 5 nails it blew it’s internal bladder. A prompt easy return got me the second one. I used it for a cedar fence. Pushing 1 3/4 inch coil through. The DEWALT brand nail coils don’t really fit in the coil holder until it is 3/4 of the roll. So I left the cage open until then. I think shorter nails would have fared better through this gun, as it failed to feed about 15% of the time. I never had a jam. Just had numerous dry fires.

I just left a review on the 28 degree framing nailer and basically the same story they were part of the same order and went and picked up both the next day super light weight super easy to load and use. You really can’t go wrong with any DeWalt product. My only complaint and has nothing to do with this roofing nailer is that I wish there were more options of DeWalt tool bags to buy instead of getting one here and there with certain tools. If you’re looking for a roofing nailer though you just stumbled across the one to get.
