I needed to buy a roofing nailer because I was replacing the roof on my carport (3 squares, 300 square feet). The Lord has given me many talents but hammering nails is not one of them. This was an excellent purchase and I can’t even tell you how glad I am that I bought it. Just pull the trigger and bounce the gun off of the shingles and blam, blam, blam.blam, next shingle. Good product, good price. My only regret is that I may never need it again.

Wonderful tool! It was fantastic to be able to hold the trigger down and just tap the roof to shoot the nail. It was quick, fairly lightweight, and very easy to load the spool of nails… which is very nice when you’re ON A ROOF! I highly recommend this tool.

I’ve done a lot of roofs in my lifetime and have used a lot of different nailers. This is a really good nailer. Feels comfortable, and is very consistent when firing nails. I like to try to point out the cons when I write a review, but so far I don’t really have any for this gun. I haven’t had it for a long time so I can’t give a good review for its durability but it seems so well build and I’m guessing it is going to last a long time. The depth of drive adjustment is nice to have. Sometimes I nail down cement board with it and to be able to adjust the depth is really convenient. Also, the rubber on the sides really does help the gun from sliding down the roof. Great gun. Definitely recommend

Great tool from DeWalt. I do home renovations for a living and generally stay away from roofing. Decided to build a shed in the backyard and didnt want to have to hire out for roofing nor nail all the shingles by hand. Decided to buy this gun for the job and it sure lived up to the reviews of everyone. I had (1) misfire the entire roof. Gun works great and as advertised. If you are considering this for a small job like a shed or small roof, you certainly wont be disappointed.
