This is a 4.5″ grinder cutting blade by DeWalt. It is thin 0.045″ thick. You can do some very precision metal cutting with this. Check the specs of the product for how thick you should expect to cut through. I used it to cut a metal threshold. Like butter. No issues and very little sparks. I understand that isn’t a very robust metal, but it did the job in less than 10 seconds. Very happy.

As I had just recently purchased a dewalt grinder, I thought it could be best used if I had some grinder wheels so it could be used. I have not had a chance to utilize the wheels or or the grinder.

The cap is tight and not easy to open but I think it’s good safety-wise. I used two of the blades so far for what I needed to do. I cut through old carpet and some wood slats – got the job done.

These are great blades they do everything that they say they will do and they stay sharp for along time. I even cut a couple of railroad cross ties and that didn’t even hurt the blades at all. I even took the same blade and cut up a 2 inch pipe the blade is holden up. You can’t go wrong in getting these blades they are really good.
