DEWALT Diamond Tile Bits provide a quick, clean way to precisely drill through the densest, most-abrasive tiles, including glazed ceramic and rock-hard porcelain (both solid-body and glazed). The bits feature an ultra-durable welded-diamond tip, which easily outperforms and outlasts conventional masonry bits. Reverse spiral threads permit continuous water cooling, so you can run the bits at higher speeds without fear of overheating. There’s even a core-ejection slot that removes a plug of waste material, which is ideal for repetitive hole-boring jobs.
- Diamond welded tip for greater life and durability
- Reverse spiral thread delivers continuous water feed for longer life and increased speed
- Core ejection slot removes plug for repetitious holes
- Ideal for kitchen and bath installers and residential or commercial plumbers

The bit does what it is supposed to do., was very pleased with a quick delivery. And liked the idea of not having to shop for what I wanted., just ordered and picked up at store., thanks again.

Keep it wet, works great

Product works well, yet directions are sketchy. Start drilling on 45′< to get a bite into porcelain, once a starting bore is developed level the bit to a 90'<, for square drilling.Starting flat on surface causes bit to "run and dance" on the drilling surface.

I expected a lot less from the drill bit, I never expected it would take 30 seconds to drill through a glass bottle with a little water.

This drill bit cut through porcelain tile without any problem. I kept it wet with with a spray bottle and it dug in without walking all over the place. If you follow the simple directions for the angle of bit to start hole you will be rewarded with a nice circular hole.

I used this to cut through ceramic tile to install a grab bar in the shower. It cut very easily. I then used a drill bit to penetrate the metal stud in the wall & installed 1/4″ toggles with SS machine screws.

Many attractive flower pots do not have holes for drainage. After doing my research on how to properly drill a hole into ceramic I chose this 3/4 in bit to attempt the project. This worked like a charm. I’m very pleased with results!

The drill went through the tile and backing like a charm.

I was surprised that such an effective tool could be so inexpensive. That thing really plowed through porcelain tile!

Perfect for drilling holes in bottles. The cutting capacity diminishes after about 3 bottles and thus has to be used sparingly as they are somewhat pricey for such limited use. Still, the best think on the market.

Great

Bit did the job and will probably do many more. Only thing I had to make a water resivor for it some of the more expensive ones had one.

Worked like a charm for a RO faucet hole on my quartz top.

Performed as designed when directions were followed completely. I drilled 16 perfectly sized holes in 1/2” hard ceramic tiles to install 4 shower and bath grab rails with wing-it’s.
