I had a 12′ x 12′ concrete pad outside our back door I needed to remove, to facilitate the installation of pavers. Using this chisel along with a flat chisel made the task of busting up the pad a breeze. The other option was sledgehammer and cold chisel…And, that was not an option I wanted to even consider.Using this chisel busted out the pad like a hot knife in butter. It simply was a pleasure to use.The things I noticed when using this chisel is to go into the concrete at a slight angle, and keep moving the chisel around. Doing this will prevent the chisel from binding within the concrete. Lastly, ensure that you apply a fair amount of hammer bit grease to your bit prior to using. This will prevent the bit from binding into the chuck from the generated heat.Well worth getting should you have any concrete busting task at hand.
