As an electrician I used to rent jackhammers but if you drive a lot of ground rods that adds up. I can either pass the savings on to my customers to help them out or get the job or I can keep the equipment charge and widen my profit margin a little if I need to make sure I don’t go on the red. At the time I bought it I wished there were an sds plus version. It would take longer to drive the ground rod but I wouldn’t have had to buy a new machine. Hopefully my demo-hammer will pay off too.
