DEWALT 1-3/4 HP Fixed Base/Plunge Router Combo Kit has the power to rout and smooth the toughest hardwoods. The micro-fine depth adjustment ring allows for precise adjustments in 1/64 in. increments. The tool-free, steel motor cam lock and quick-release motor latches make bit and base changes fast and easy when you need to switch tasks.

I LOVE this tool! I can barely put it down. The motor slides easily into either base quickly and smoothly. The plunge base has a multi-step turret stop which makes multiple setups easy to switch between. The clear acrylic baseplates are easily interchangeable and accept common sized guide bushing sets. In all, a sturdy and very well-made tool for the price.

I was really happy with this router. The fact that the collet isn’t permanently attached to the shaft was a plus for me as I’d had collets break/need repair previously, and it meant I had to get a whole new router. This was very easy to use and setup and I was cutting within just a few minutes.
