It has been one of the best routers I’ve ever used. The soft start is really nice so you don’t destroy your project, no matter what speed you are set at. It is definitely an investment though, I would not recommend this as a starter router purely due to its price. Although you do get what you pay for.

I had mine for about 4 years, runs great, very powerfull, the only problem is the adjustment noob on the height, not very accurate. but not lot of a problem, still recommend

Bought this to replace a 20 year old fixed base one speed router. First use was on a new table saw wing router table. Works fine so far. Router table is in with a router lift and now making a router fence. With a good bit and the right speed it cut clean and quickly.

I had a cheap Ryobi before, this blow it out of the water . Cuts with ease. Definitely worth the high price.

I purchased these to help with flattening this eucalyptus slab. It did just a great job and didnt bog down at all. I would highly recommend this router to flatten any slab.

I was on the fence for a while about “taking the plunge ” ( sorry, couldn’t resist) to buy a plunge router but I couldn’t be happier that I did. This thing is a wood hungry monster. It has tackled everything I have thrown at it so far . Fluid plunge is an understatement as it plunges effortlessly. There may be better or stronger on the market but I don’t need to find out because this one suits my needs to a T.

I bought this router based on the brand quality and I knew it would be a great tool but after using it, it exceeded my expectations. Power, versatility, ease of use, ergonomic and just a down right pleasure to use. The dust collection works great. Auxullary base, and other features put this router up there in my opinion. Now I want another one to replace my pc for my dedicated table cutter.

Excellent router in all ways, except the vacuum connector and effectiveness virtuallt worthless. Either I know not the rotation, or the refuse collector is on the wrong side.

This is my go to router fro every wood project i have in my shop. the options are awsoome and lets you have a veriaty of condition in one single tool. weather I use the 1/2″ or 1/4″ collet, there’s no bit I can’t use on it. The plunge base is super easy to use and let’s you do outstanding projects even if yoou don’t have a router table or dado stack available. The speed wheel is accurate and easy to handle on any type of wood and yoou can adjust as you go as well. Would definitely recommend this set to anyone.

Alright! I am a professional home builder that uses my tools daily on the job for many different things.I don’t use the plunge stand often. So this review will not include that feature. 95% of the time I have this guy mounted To a table! It has a lot of power and I keep it turned down for most of the wood products I use. Southern Pine, Walnut, Maple, Cherry etc that realm.I can tell you I have never had a hiccup and it does it’s job on every piece of wood I throw at it! From time to time I make I my own trim even with this guy on the table! Honestly you won’t be disappointed with this unit!

I bought this to use for double duty as a free-hand router and with my router table. So far I have been extremely happy with it. The height adjustment wheel took a little getting used to to get it exact but that’s the worst I can say about this product. It’s quite powerful and cuts well. The handles are comfortable and the whole tool feels solid.

I love this router kit. I’m sure there are a few situations that this kit may not be able to handle, but I’ve yet to find one. Well built, powerful, and the dust extraction works like a charm

The soft start is a major safety factor and the main reason I made this purchase

I use my router for just about every project from jointing edges, profiling, inlaying, to planing slabs. It’s handled everything with pretty much no problem. I have a beefy Amana bit I use for planing slabs and it cuts like a hot knife through butter. Nice durable build!

Picked this up about 2 months ago. Very powerful. Variable speed. This is the first plunge router I’ve ever owned and I am very happy with it.

Im a big Dewalt fan so Im going to give them a pass for an almost out-of-box failure. I used the router once and on the second use I heard a rattle of a loose part inside the motor housing. Before I could switch the motor off, it started smoking. Done. Thanks to the retailer who honored the warranty and exchanged it right away. I’m sure this was a rare occurrence and so far so good with the new one.

I bought this to replace a different brand router. This is so much smoother than the other. It is powerful enough to do almost any job with no issues. I ended up mounting this in my table and it sees use almost daily. After 2 years, I did have to replace a couple of parts – the spindle lock & spring. The lock button stop tab broke off and went shooting across the shop. I did find the lock button, but the spring was a lost cause, at least until the replacements arrived.I also ended up getting a spare fixed base (the first is permanently mounted in the table). The plunge base operates smoothly and locks firmly into position.

I looked around that many different routers. there are definitely some cheaper options out there but unfortunately they are just that… cheap. it was nice to see you after spending the extra money that I got what I paid for. This is by far the best router I’ve ever used. It’s amazing to see some of the work it does.
