I am very happy with this tool, I have used it as intended , but mostly as a Gutsy Dremmel tool.I wish DeWalt would come up with Dremmel like accesories but heavy duty like the tool it self, not hobby oriented like Dremmel.It is a tool worth having!

Been using it with my CNC machine since about 4 years, 3 to 4 hours constantly at a time with no real big break except to change bit at a rate of at least once per week but now it needs a brush job. Can really rely on this tool. Don’t stop manufacturing it

Home Depot shipped the item fast and it arrived well packed. I am not a daily user of the cut off tool, but it has done a good job so far. I have only used the tool on wood. The tool-less chuck is a good idea, but I don’t use it. It seems easier for me to use a wrench.

While a bit heavy & large for drywall work it is powerful & the button on the end makes it easy to turn off when you have the tool in one hand and the scrap you just cut out in the other.

It works good on drywall. But it works a lot better with a Roto Zip bit. The bit that came with it was too short and didn’t have the blunt nose guide. I used it to cut out for recessed lighting cans, and it worked well clockwise or counter clockwise. It didn’t require skill or practice. But I found it helpful to cut out a little piece from inside the can before jumping to the outside. It just help me see which way the curve went before I cut it out. Then it went smooth and almost effortless.
