This Heavy Duty Plate Joiner Kit is powered by a 6.5 Amp 10,000 RPM motor that provides power for working in the hardest woods. The dual rack and pinion fence ensures blade and fence are always parallel for accurate joints every time.

- Dual rack and pinion fence ensures blade and fence are always parallel for accurate joints every time
- Integral one-piece fence is adjustable and tilts 0-90 degree
- 45 degree locating notch in fence allows indexing off the outside surface of a mitered joint
- Includes carbide blade, dust bag, heavy-duty kit box, Torx key, vacuum adapter, wrench
- Aluminum shoe allows joiner to be clamped for stationary work
- DW682K will produce a cut that is 1/4 in. deep for #0 biscuits, 3/8 in. deep for #10 biscuits and 1/2 in. deep for #20 biscuits

I just finished a 2,000 SqFoot hardwood deck with hidden fasteners. I used this Plate joiner to slot the tropical hard wood for the hidden fasteners and I held up solid to the task. The blade is still relatively sharp making big chips instead of finer dust.

This purchase is to replace my old one stolen off a jobsite. The tool is exactly the same as my old one which I had owned for 15 years plus. I had read the other reviewers comments on the adjustments. However, I have not had the same issues, maybe after all this time I am just used to the tool. Use this tool for all kinds of millwork joining on the job site from mitered casing to cabinet doors, wood glueing etc.. Tool just goes and does its job. Very reliable. The old one would have probably gone forever, but its not to be. Has plenty of power and I have always liked the smoothness of the plunge trigger action. Great tool real work horse,

Great tool worked great. Only thing is it needs a hard case. The soft case that comes with it is just not Enough protection. I’m afraid that the plate will get bent as I have seen this happen.
