I had an older Black and Decker EVS plunge router (2hp) part number RP400. I was looking for a router guide and this does the job. The included smaller rods match. I was able to screw them to my router base without a problem. Glad to have found this part.

Not as accurate or easy to use as I had hoped it would be. Probably works best with Dewalt routers. I tried it with Ryobi, Porter Cable and Bosch and had some issues with fitting the tool to the router as well as the accuracy of the cut.

Mine did come with an 8.5x 11 single page instruction sheet. It was folded in quarters, maybe the others somehow missed it? In any event this is not a difficult thing to figure out. Two sets of rods; you pick the pair that fits your router base. Threaded knobs and springs; you use them in the router base in the same manner that the two screws and spring sets are inserted in the accessory fence. Seems common sense to me. This is a well-made fence with a very nice adjustment screw for fine-tuning the position of the cut. Great piece of equipment!!

This guide is intended to be used with some Dewalt routers, as the quality is good, I want to used it with a Ryobi Router since the 8 mm rods can be adapted to the router base. Only problem are the bronze wing screws to fix the rods, as they messure 15/64″ diameter,I am now threading the holes to that size and will see if Works for me.Is bad this guide do not come with any useful information how to use it properly,just a piece of paper with a drawing of the guide and their parts.
