Given that the saw stands these work with are mostly aluminum, it is a little surprising these are made of steel. They are adjustable in height and will work on less than perfectly flat floors. They are great for supporting fully extended stands while dealing with heavy wood products like treated 2X material for decks.

I bought 2 of these for my Dewalt miter stand that was set up for several weeks for cutting wide poplar and rubber crown using 2 – 6 ft. 1x8s on the sides, screwed to a 4″ 1x block, flush.. next to the saw and the extended material support, adjusted down 3/4″. Otherwise, I wouldn’t need them .. they would hinder the ability to bring the support in for shorter pcs. Maybe they should have roller blade wheels and a longer channel at the top to keep it upright? … and, come on…it should have a welded nut for the tightener at the top too … you hear me, Dewalt?
