When my old Delta miter saw’s blade guard shattered in the middle of making Christmas presents I had to find a new saw right away. This saw had most of the features that I wanted, had very good reviews, plus was in stock so I bought one. After unpacking and attaching it to my workbench it was time to square it up. To my surprise it was already square! I’m real fussy on how square the cut is so I kept running one test after another and not only was the 90 degree cut spot on so was the 45 degree. Wow, I’ve never bought a tool that didn’t need some level of squaring to meet my standards.Now that I’ve finished the Christmas presents I can sit back and really enjoy looking at my new saw. This is a great miter saw!

I purchased for repairing my outdoor deck. Assembly was minimal and it worked great at cutting with ease. It was advertised as cutting boards of 6 inch width. This was correct at the zero degree setting, but not at any other setting, so I basically had to make two cuts to complete an angle cut on a 6 inch board. A bite cumbersome, but it was not too bad. I would have bought the next size if this was better stated. Overall it is a great miter saw.
