You need accuracy from your miter saw and this tool gives you just that. The DEWALT 12 in. Double-Bevel Compound Miter Saw’s precise miter system and innovative machined base fence design offer long-term fence straightness from additional support. This miter saw comes equipped with a 15 Amp motor that delivers 3600 RPM for extended power and durability. This saw also includes the DEWALT XPS light.
- Cam lock miter handle with miter detent override that eliminates the need to twist the handle to lock in on the angle
- Double-bevel design that allows the saw to bevel left and right up to 48°
- Adjustable stainless steel miter detent plate with 11 positive stops
- Back fence design that enables you to cut 2 in. x 10 in. dimensional lumber at 90° and 2 in. x 8 in. lumber at 45°
- Tall sliding fences that support crown molding up to 6-5/8 in. nested and base molding up to 6-1/2 in. vertically against the fence while easily sliding out of the way for bevel cuts
- Innovative gearbox and belt-drive design that deliver increased vertical cutting capacity

I am a contractor.I use saw at least weekly.Started using saw right out of the box no adjustments needed.Light iuseful but not needed. Only downside is vacuum no longer hooks up to saw. Need to purchase a adapter .Otherwise great saw.

Bought this for some home renovation/upgrades. When I purchased it, the stand was free which was a very nice addition and has come in very handy. I’d still prefer to have a nice custom bench, but the DeWalt stand is portable and extremely useful at a job site. It’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for and I have yet to be let down. My only gripe would be that it’s heavy, which is great for having a quality piece but sucks when you have to move it around. Minor complaint, great saw. You won’t be disappointed.

This saw has lived up to all the great reviews. The precision cuts you can make with this tool due to the nearly perfect out-of-the-box calibration, along with the excellent XPS light, make it something every do-it-yourselfer should have. I love how easy it is to flip from miter cuts to bevel cuts and how easy it is to adjust the angle of the cuts. I spent the extra money for the stand, which while a bit pricey, made mounting and using this saw much easier. And easier on my back, if you know what I mean.
