I can’t even say how big an upgrade this is from the Ryobi 10″ miter I had before. It’s a fantastic 10″ slider. I had a 24″ width space limitation from my existing miter location, and this came in just under the limit. I got the DWS7085 from ebay — they all seem to come from south korea. It was $64 with shipping, and it arrived in 7 days. Installed no problem and it’s fantastic. Much much better than a laser.If you need a 10″ slider that comes in under 24″ wide, this is it. It’s also a fantastic machine.

Honestly haven’t been able to exercise the saw to its potential. Been doing only rough cuts for framing. Projects ahead will so show its true value. Though I did have a friend help me with a couple things who is a carpenter by trade and after he had a chance to run the saw, (made cuts in pvc board), he said his next upgrade would be for this saw.

Cuts like butter, went directly to the 60 tooth diablo blade . Cut pergo beautifully, even able to make some “rip”cuts nicely. Smooth slider and easy angle adjustment. Not light however but that makes it stable.

I bought this mitter saw a month ago after carefully benchmarking all others comparable saws at Home Depot and other distributors.The saw is excellent. We liked its cutting power and efficiency at cutting large lumbers (2×8 lumbers doubled one onto the other). The cut is precise and quick. All angles are available and set ups are quick and easy. Noise level is okay or outdoor work. However, the blade guard is a little bit annoying when cutting large lumber. And the saw dust collector is probably a little too small. It tends to clog. Nothing major, since it doesn’t seem to affect the cutting power or anything else. It is just a bit messy to empty the bag by then.

my favorite miter saw out of all the brands and models i have used. i have been using this saw for about a year and a half now, daily, as i am a carpenter. ill start with the weight, not terrible but i prefer it on a stand with wheels. plenty of power and rpms, to cut through materials like 2×6, oak, 7 1/4 inch poplar base, and many more. very user friendly and i love the preset miter and angle detents. makes for a very quick change of degree, and you can lock a non preset miter angle with tightening the lever up top. slides very nicely and spring is enough to bring blade up but smooth enough to use minimal effort, this is nice for when youre on the saw for 8-10 hours a day. dust collection with a bag is not bad, but greatly improved with a vacuum and that will collect about 85-90% of the dust. comes with a 40 tooth factory blade, but id recommend changing it for a higher tooth blade if cutting finish woods. one accessory id highly recommend, is the led light that gives the blade a shadow so you can line up your cut perfectly, while lighting up the work in front of you for clear visibility. led comes with a switch and does not work well outside in direct sunlight. overall, extremely happy, has never missed a beat, and still cuts like new.
