I jumped on a sales price for my DeWalt DW735 Planar which did not include the folding table shelves or the stand. I did however, order a few days later the Folding Table shelves to provide a longer planar bed in my hope to prevent any splining. The DeWalt DW735 planar exceeds my expectations after using a Powermatic Planar at 6 times the cost and where I did experience splining. As an accessory to the DeWalt Planar I strongly urge and recommend the addition of the Folding Table shelves as they are well worth it for the cost and outcome quality.

A snap to install. Infeed table folds up vertically when stored. Outfeed table tips up part way. The tables add considerable stability when feeding larger pieces. Wish I had purchased them years ago.

These are a must have. When I purchased my planer it was a floor model and didn’t have the extensions. When feeding material through the planer I would get some snipe at the end of the material as it was exiting the out feed roller the material would dip down even thorough I’d try to keep it level to prevent this, it still happened. After installing theses extensions the first test run the material come out snipe free. Wish I did this sooner. If your planer doesn’t have the pins to mount the extensions on, no worries this comes with it all. You can fold up the tables but the out-feed side you will need a bungee to hold it up. The table hit the planer body preventing it from resting on the planer bed.Pics below

A planer without infeed & outfeed tables is not really ready to work, so these complete the package. However, I wish they could actually fold up for transport like their 12 1/2″ planer.
