These Planer blades are good and arrived quickly. The only drawback is that they are disposable and can’t be effectively re-sharpened.

I have owned this DeWalt planer for almost 10 years and still believe it’s the best for it’s size on the marked. These blades are extremely easy to change and are self aligning. The safety of the change was also well thought through by DeWalt. I always go back to the OEM blades for consistency of performance and durability.

These knives have a good price point, but the steel chips extremely quickly, leaving a pretty unfinished surface after just a couple dozen board feet of anything hard or knotty, which means you have to adjust the lateral position to get back to a smooth cut…and that only works for about 2-3 adjustments, then you have to flip the blades for side 2. It is nice that they are double sided, but the quick chipping of the metal is a bit disappointing. I’d recommend going to mywoodcutters and getting the carbide laminated blades — yeah, they are 3x more, but they’ll last about 10x longer.

Ordered them online, arrived within a week as expected. The planer knives are easy to install.I was working with large seasoned oak boards on a project. I do wish DEWALT offered knives made of tungsten carbide or something that lasts longer than currently offered. I went through 2 sets of knives in 2 days time of working down less than 200 board feet of oak.
