I wanted a saw to handle what I had to do, yet stay under budget. This saw does what I need. Sure, I’d like it to fit a dado stack, but it’s not totally necessary. Lots of power, handles hardwood easily. Recommended for anyone.

Purchased a craftsman 10” saw and after assembly returned it and ordered the Dewalt. So glad I did

A Light and compact saw good for all kinds of jobs around the house. The guide bar is sturdy and strong enough. The wheel turns easily; I wish there were a wheel for tilting the blade too instead of having to push by hand. The only complaint I have is with the start/stop button: it’s not very easy to find when you want to turn the machine off without looking. Also, don’t bother spending $10 for the plastic attachment that reduces the dust exhaust from whatever it is to a smaller diameter: it doesn’t work because the two attaching diameters are exactly the same. All-in-all a good product for the money.

Does exactly what it’s designed to do. Precise cuts and powerful enough to rip 2x4s.

The saw is great but took to long to get it

I have only used it a few times but I can now say that I wish it came with a metal rather than plastic top.

The size and weight make it portable. I did mount the saw on a work bench I had built and it works perfectly as a normal table saw. The fence is very accurate and locks in place and remains in that position.

I’m a beginner DIYer and a dad to be. I picked this up for my back yard/shed make shift workshop and I’m glad I chose it. I’d always been told DeWALT made the best, and I feel confident I made the best decision choosing DeWALT!

I finally got tired of my old Ryobi table saw and replaced it with the DW745. The 745 is so precise, easy to use and much safer. Not to mention lighter and easier to move about. It is a great cutting machine. In the first week I ripped over 400 linear feet of 3/4″ pine boards for trim. The ease and precision of adjusting the fence was a joy from what I was used to.

Not happy with the way the guide is fastened. It has tendancy to slide when ripping pieces of wood
