Featuring a double parallel-link arm design for accurate cuts, the arm pivots from the back to the front, shortening the distance the arm moves for smoother, quieter operation. Easy to handle with variable-speed control for application-specific performance, the on/off switch, speed control, blade-tensioning lever and flexible dust blower are all located within easy reach of the front upper arm. The dependable 1.3 Amp motor delivers 400 to 1750 SPM for plenty of power, while the compact design makes portability around your jobsite or workshop a breeze. Perfect on time delivery with delivery notifications and a pristine box delivered in poor weather conditions. Super easy assembly. Quality built product with substantial structure, weight, and ergonomic controls especially blade change out. MANDATORY – Bought and installed a bright LED battery-operated light with magnetic base. Good duty cycle – cuts thick hardwood easily and accurately with blade changes. Intricate cuts require heavy concentration, steady hand, slow feed, and forethought about the blade/tool path. Changing out and adjusting the blade tension is easy and a major benefit of this saw. Using the saw is easy but it’s just not very fun. Probably would have been equally happy with a cheaper scroll saw.

This scroll saw is great! Heavy duty table with a lot of room for multiple projects. Easy to assemble and obviously works great with Dewalt stand. I’ve been using it everyday with no issues. The only thing I wish they would add would be some sort of dust collection hookup for underneath the table. There are third party mounts but it’d be nice if it was standard.

Very nice scrollsaw. Came almost fully assembled, only needed to put the table on.The blade holders and hold down are easy to use with “T” knobs – no special tools required.Good power, and the large table makes large projects easy to work.My only complaint is older models had a toggle to hold the upper arm up and away when you needed to mount a project for inside cuts – that has been eliminated on this model. You need a piece of scrapwoodto hold up the arm, now.

The saw blade has too much forward to backwards movement as the blade moves up and down. Blade strokes should be more verticle. The saw upper arm is not spring loaded to stay in the up position when changing blades or threading the blade into a entrance hole. The saw is O.K. It could be better for the price.
