The packaging is horrible. The box arrived at my home torn apart and luckily nothing was missing but a potential for the stand to get damaged. The stand needs to be packaged in Styrofoam with three nylon straps on the outside of the box. The nylon straps also serve as a point to grasp and pickup the heavy box. There are no assembly instructions only a picture and it’s up to you to figure out where to start. There is a Youtube video that may help you. It took me longer than required to assemble since it does take two people to assemble or plenty of clamps. Also, at the rear the top nut and bolt on the stand conflicts with the nut and bolt that goes through the saw scroll into the stand. Dewalt needs to clean up its act on this pricy product coupled with the saw scroll. Other than that . . . the stand is of excellent materials and construction.

I’d give 5 stars but no assembly instructions just drawing of the parts. If your handy it can be figured out how it goes together. My DeWalt DW 488 just fine.

The stand was easy to assemble.

I’d buy it again. It does the job. It seems like DeWalt outsourced the design and instructions. It took some time figuring out sequence of assembly. Don’t tighten all the bolts until it’s level and has a saw on it. 4 stars for fit & finish and subpar assembly instructions.

The stand was very easy to put together the instructions are basic not a not of detail but enough to help with the assembly of this stand. It is nice that the back legs raise and lower. It is very sturdy and functions great.

Overall, I was a little disappointed in the stand for the scroll saw. I feel that it is too low to the ground, and requires me to stay hunched over the work piece in a rather uncomfortable position. I was hoping there was an accessory caster set, to allow the scroll saw to be moved around easily. There used to be casters, but they are no longer more sale. Overall, I feel it should be higher, and have an optional wheel set.

Only thing would make it better is wheels that lock down so you can move it.

However DeWalt needs to make the legs adjustable. It sits a little high even for a man six ft tall. the average stool makes it uncomfortable to be able to see the saw and keep hands at a comfortable height. it is a well built stand and serves its purpose well for the scroll saw. just need to be able to adjust the legs up or down.

The stand was easily assembled and very sturdy when attached to the scroll saw.
