The light came wired with a two-prong plug requiring a second electrical outlet. The blub was missing. Should come with the Dewalt scroll saw as a safety feature.

Little installation difficulty in that cord got in way of bolting light to saw, otherwise works fine. Light tends to droop a little, maybe head too heavy for stem?

It does its job.. The light stays in the position you adjust it to. It is easy to install. The wrench and instructions are included. My light came with a normal 110v plug on the end of the wire. You simply plug it in to a power source. The description picture shows what looks like a plain wire.

Purchased the light when I got the Dewalt Scrollsaw and the stand. Worked ok light was not very bright and other reviews had said the same thing but after replacing the bulb with a led that I was able to get from Amazon I am very happy with how it works. Mine does not move around like what I had read on other reviews. The reason I gave it a rating of 4 and quality of 4 is because of the light bulb itself charge just a few dollars more but please but a decent light so a person can see what they are doing.

The neck is a little different than the photo as the first 6 inches from the mounting bracket is a rigid tube and not flexible. The included bulb is almost as large as the head and therefore hard to insert (or replace). Overall quality of the material is good.

I love the light. But it is rated at a 25 w bulb. My eyes have gotten worse as I got older. But I made a change and its great. I went to my local Hardware store and purchased a LED 4w bulb that puts out the light of a 40w. Problem solved!

The main complaint by other reviewers was the brightness of the bulb. It definitely could be brighter, but it is sufficient. At some point I may buy a led bulb to replace the original bulb, but for now it will work. Older reviews indicated the light would move, but the newer version stays in place.
