The DEWALT 15 Amp 14 in. (355 mm) Multi-Cutter Saw is a dry cutting saw that uses a carbide-tipped blade specifically designed for cutting heavy-duty metals. Featuring enough capacity to cut everything from 5 in. black pipe to 2-9/16 in. solid bar stock, this saw is also ideal for cutting threaded rod, struts, angle iron and rebar. Delivering exceptional speed and superior finished surfaces, there is little need for touchup, so grinding and filling times are reduced. The carbide-tipped blade averages more than 1200 cuts in most applications and with sharpening, you can get up to 5000 cuts. The saw cuts very nicely. Very torquey motor. Nice build. My only complaint is the fence. It has angle indicator, but has not point to align it with precisely. You really need to use a square every time you change the fence.

I’ve cut about 30 pieces so far over the last couple of weeks. I’ve cut mainly angle iron but a few round stock also. The product is HEAVY DUTY, nothing flimsy. I would like to see the plate that push the piece up to be a little more precise on making sure its a 90 degree cut. But happy overall

Nice clean cutting saw. So far its worked perfectly for 45 deg and straight cuts in 1/8″ wall tube steel. Cut pieces are true and plumb, with care at setup. The supplied blade has been great and could easily handle much more robust material. I have no issue recommending this saw.

Saw works as expected, this is our 3rd one. we use them every day cutting steel operable partition track.Only complainant would be with Home Depot, I had is shipped to my office and it looked like the box was run over with a Hi-Lo.Had to return it and order another one.

Bought this saw black friday sale. I checked out reviews before buying and it proved profitable. One review noted blade not square with table so I checked mine before even turning it on. Yep, 1/8th out of square in 6 inches. Immediately sent it back for replacement. Customer service was excellent! Checked 2nd one and it was fine. Squared back jaw with blade (lock down arm AND bolts or it will move) then cut 50 pieces of 1″ x 2″ cold formed steel with no problems. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. Start blade slow into stock then light pressure. Let blade do the work. Clamping jaws are not well designed so don’t tighten stock like your securing a battleship.

Cuts well, but two things bother me; 1) The fence locking down system needs work. It’s not going to last, hard to adjust and hold for a miter. Two bolts, one a hold down and one a pivot would have been a much better idea. 2) Needs some way to allow for repetitive cuts. I ended up drilling a hole and bolt a rod in to make a stop gauge, works good, but for the money something could have been designed in the base.

Saw works flawlessly. Straight cuts on 3/8” thick angle and 3” channel. Don’t force it and let the saw do the work and it will cut straight every time once the fence is set square. It was a little off out of the box but easily adjusted.

I purchased this saw because of the Blade, it is a Toothed Blade not the Fiber Blade and they hold up. well.I have owned this saw for approximately 8 years and have no problems with it. I have cut nurmerious pieces of steel for projects and have had great luck getting straight cuts, which makes the project do a lot easier.I was Leary of the blade, the teeth, but when I made my first cut and the blade went through the steel like butter, I was hooked on this saw.I have just changed to only my second blade, that was included with the purchase.Great Saw for Metal Work, Cuts Straight, Smooth Cuts with little burring !

Saw has been used almost everyday in commercial location for the last 4 years. It has never failed. The only part I would say that could be improved would be the table. It is kinda flimsy. Besides that I would recommend this saw, I just purchased a second one in case the first ever stops working. Great saw.

Great saw, although heavy. I move it in and out of my welding truck several times a day. Cuts faster than the abrasive wheel cut off saw it replaced. Like the fact that the blade stays the same diameter unlike abrasive wheel. Very few, if any sparks. Highly recommend this saw!
