The DEWALT 15 Amp 14 in. (355 mm) Multi-Cutter Saw is a dry cutting saw that uses a carbide-tipped blade specifically designed for cutting heavy-duty metals. Featuring enough capacity to cut everything from 5 in. black pipe to 2-9/16 in. solid bar stock, this saw is also ideal for cutting threaded rod, struts, angle iron and rebar. Delivering exceptional speed and superior finished surfaces, there is little need for touchup, so grinding and filling times are reduced. The carbide-tipped blade averages more than 1200 cuts in most applications and with sharpening, you can get up to 5000 cuts. With a powerful 15 Amp, 4.0 hp motor, this saw is designed to stand up to rugged work on a regular basis, making it ideal for jobsite use.

Overall cuts very well angles and straight people complain about the bass but I think it’s pretty sturdy I don’t think you’re gonna be throwing a 10 inch I-beams on it but that’s not what it was made for pretty awesome the way it works

Though I have only made 20 or so cuts with the saw it is so much better than the abrasive saw that it replaced. Way faster cutting little to no clean up and cuts are plenty accurate for my fabrication and welding work. Wish I had bought it years ago.

This saw cuts so much better than my abrasive saw. It cuts faster and there is little to no burr edge on the workpiece so the time savings is considerable. There is little heat build-up so the pieces can be picked up immediately with no fear of getting burned. I have made hundreds of cuts with it while building a metal fence and the blade is still cutting very well. I wish that I had bought one of these years ago.

It has a nice strong motor with a nice handle set up but I didn’t even get a manual with mine.The fence and vise setup has got a lot to be looked at before cutting any thing.The bottom of the vise is NOT straight up and down the bottom bites first to hold anything to be cut but it doesn”t hold the material very well to be cut.You should use some thing solf to even out the bite on the vise so it doesn”t forse the material up off of the bed of the saw.If they would use the fence from the cheaper cold saw that they carry and put it on the dewalt they would have a great saw then.

Bought this to build 2 pipe metal cattle guards. Cuts through drill stem pipe like cutting through a 2×4 . I cut the I-beams and angle iron also with ease. No bogging down. Has super powerful motor. Very important to follow the instructions and move the fence to the proper location for the materials to be cut with the correct portion of the saw blade. It eases the cut and no kickback. Love this thing !!!

I’ve only used it for a couple small projects cutting 1/8″ wall tubing and angle iron, but it glides through those. And leaves a clean cut with hardly any burr that’s not too hot. The fence is stout and the angle indexing marks are accurate. The cam the locks the fence seems weak but hasn’t slipped.
