The DEWALT 15 Amp 14 in. (355 mm) Multi-Cutter Saw is a dry cutting saw that uses a carbide-tipped blade specifically designed for cutting heavy-duty metals. Featuring enough capacity to cut everything from 5 in. black pipe to 2-9/16 in. solid bar stock, this saw is also ideal for cutting threaded rod, struts, angle iron and rebar. Delivering exceptional speed and superior finished surfaces, there is little need for touchup, so grinding and filling times are reduced. The carbide-tipped blade averages more than 1200 cuts in most applications and with sharpening, you can get up to 5000 cuts. With a powerful 15 Amp, 4.0 hp motor, this saw is designed to stand up to rugged work on a regular basis, making it ideal for jobsite use.

I was amazed at the ability to make clean accurate cuts to metal with this tool.However, I think that the clamping system needs to be improved for better accuracy and pre-sets !!I will have to modify for my own comfort level and effeciency.

Bought this saw about seven months ago and it’s been pretty good to me. Lots of power, good blade and smooth operation. Has stood up to plenty of angle, thick wall square steel tubing, flat bar and the like. The only real problem is the base. As with most other dry cut saws and chop saws on the market the base on this one is cheaply built and the clamp leaves a lot to be desired. I’d have gladly paid more for this saw with a burly mitre saw base (not sure why that’s not a thing).

Excellent saw… wish I had bought it a long time ago. Over 250 cuts through 2 inch schedule 80 pipe and 3×3″ angle. I bought a second blade at the same time that I bought the saw, thinking I would need it… nope, still on the original blade that came with the saw. The key is to not force it through and let the blade do the work. The clamp does a decent job of holding the material; it’s just not accurate if you need a perfectly square cut. And don’t use some wimpy extension cord… it draws every bit of 15 amps.

works great cuts metal perfect.. I was cutting 24 foot lengths of 2” SQ tube at various lengths. must support stock on both sides for cutting on long lengths. people complain about weak base its fine. I had no problem cutting angles etc. should use a small square for verification if needed. Its a great saw and would buy it again comes with a good metal cutting blade. just wear a face shield you don’t want metal in your eyes. I used a Lincoln electric face shield.

The saw is great. Nice cut fast cuts with one exception….the 45 degree setting will not stay at 45 after the first cut. Very frustration to have to go back and shave off the larger angle for 64 cuts.
