Works very well.

Packaging didn’t specify if the half inch was tap size or shank size. My 1/4 npt tap is .4″ on the shank so I bought this hoping it would fit. It did not. Otherwise it seems like your typical tap handle.

It works great, a little pricey all we’ll..

This a well made product, the chuck is easy to use, but the handle could be longer. It does slide from side to side but a longer T handle would give you more even pressure which is needed when hand cutting new threads. It will accept a 3/8 drive ratchet to help.

Easy and pro tool

Great tool! Heavy duty and should last a long time. Holds bits snugly with no slippage. In retrospect, I should have purchased it in the “set” with some bits for only a few dollars more.

Once you use an impact driver you can not put the T-Handle back in. The hole is twisted just enough it will no longer fit. I love using it with my Impact for it does the job so very much faster. My only issue is the jaws are held apart by a very tiny spring wire thus permitting to change taps with ease. Once that tiny spring breaks you have to hold the jaws in so they do not fall out an get lost. Wish that tiny spring is a lot more Stout!

Greatest tap handle ever made, my life is so much better now!

Really not a lot to be said about this tool, except that it’s well made and it did the job I intended to use it for. I needed it to tap threads in my Dialcet bathroom faucet. It was perfect for the job, and inexpensive too.

Works well on small taps, for bigger taps e.g. 10- 32 the short handle males it a little difficult.
Brant Morar (verified owner) –
Worked exactly as I expected and made using a tap for the first time extremely easy. It’s not something I anticipate needing to do very often, but it was well worth the money.

The tool is great and serves its purpose if you know what you are doing with it. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the price of the product. They sell battery operated drills (although a cheaper brand) for less than the price of this little tool. Taylor the bits to fit a variable speed drill

Bought this one to replace a cheezy unit from an auto parts store. this one works great, I don’t have to use channel locks to tighten and untighten It.
Fritz Harber (verified owner) –
Does what it’s supposed to. Wish the handles were a tad bit longer for extra leverage. Was tapping 1/2 x 13 and really had to crank on it.
Justus Becker (verified owner) –
It does have a nice big adjustment/tightening knob that is knurled. The one thing I wish is that the jaws were maybe parallel clamping instead of / clamping just made a symbol because I couldn’t describe it accurately.
