   I have been using dewalt blades almost exclusively for years. When it comes to longevity of the blade and the quality of the product I have never been disappointed. The teeth are sharp and can chew through 3/4 inch plywood like butter. I general use the multipurpose blades for rough cuts or less detailed projects. If you are doing some work that needs a clean cut, I would recommend a fine toothed blade. I highly recommend this saw blade.

   While the saw blade is small, it is incredibly sharp and seems to be well made. It works well in my small cordless saw and is a great light-duty cutting blade. It works well for light duty workshop projects and I have only used it to cut soft woods and composite siding. I would like to see its performance on some harder woods but overall this is a great little saw blade.

   I personally recommend having the DeWalt 24-tooth General Purpose blade as an addition to my tool bag because it makes precision cuts every time without any flaws using the carbide teeth for long lasting blade life. The sharpness of the blade is absolutely remarkable. No problem notching out plywood, as shown for quick reference. Again, great product for notching out materials for piping, electrical, and many other projects. And last but not least, with it having the DeWalt name, you know it’s built of the best materials and built to last.

    I wanted a backup blade for my new compact circular saw. I compared the Dewalt blade to the blade that came with the saw, and the only difference that I could tell was that the original sawblade felt a little bit smoother as it was cutting. However, as you can see from the pictures, the wood cuts in the 2×4 looked the same, and both blades zipped through the 2×4 quickly and easily. (“D” for Dewalt, “C” for comparison.). So now I have two great blades with a 3/8″ arbor.
