   This worked well but the quality isn’t great. I needed to sand some old paint off in corners I couldn’t get to with my orbital sander. It was a big job but by the end the edges of the sanding pad were all chewed up. I had little chunks of the black rubber/foam coming off and I wasn’t treating it roughly. I think this is going to happen no matter which brand you use but I would have thought it would last longer than it did. I will need to buy another before I start my next project.

   Seems like a good replacement for my worn-out original Porter-Cable sanding pad. Haven’t used it yet so I can’t comment on longevity, but it fits perfectly and appears identical to the original Porter-Cable.

   I use this multi tool on almost every project an dthe sand paper attachment had never let me down. I don’t know how others are melting it. I have gone through 100’s of papers and it still goes. The only issue I have is finding the proper DeWalt size paper so it covers the full pad. And even in that, I’ve used smaller pads exposing the hooks and they haven’t melted, only bent around the edge. So I have used this for 2 years and there is still life left in it.

    Pad does what it’s supposed to. Fits my DeWalt OMT very well and stays snuggly fit while in use. One issue I found was that the rubbar pad can get worn down when you haven’t been paying attention to how worn the sandpaper is, and the pad then becomes misformed. For this reason I would have preferred a metal underlay under the hooks. No other issues.

    This product was exactly what I expected. It replaced one that I accidently destroyed. Other “universal fit” products don’t really. Sanding pads for this product are easy to find. Ease of ordering and speed of delivery are excellent.
