Will return, not for regular drills.

I used a few of the drill bits as soon as I came home. They perform better than the privious pack of bits I bought. They were an off brand but on sale.

The carry case is easy to use and keep the bits organized and easy to see to choose the right one. Seem to be good quality so far for home use.

I ran into a problem this past weekend when I tried to change the oil on my Jeep Rubicon JKU. I just bought this jeep so this was my first oil change. Whoever changed the oil last time over tightened the drain plug and also the bolt was completely stripped. The drain plug is a 13mm and I could spin the 13mm socket around it with my fingers…the 12mm socket didn’t quite fit. I tried to soak it with liquid wrench and further stripped it for probably a good 30 minutes with the vice grips…No Luck! At this point I just started searching for whatever solution and I came across numerous bolt extractors. To be honest I have mostly dewalt power tools and I trust their quality so when I found the dewalt bolt extractor set I figured I’d give it a shot. There are so many bolt extractor brands and different sets and in no way I’m putting them down or even comparing them to dewalt…HOWEVER, what I can tell you is that the dewalt bolt extractor removed the bolt in about 10 seconds. I put some pressure on the wrench above the socket and by the 3rd pull the extractor loosened it. The extractor bit down on what used to be a 13mm bolt that No socket or tool would even budge. If anyone reads this I hope this helps you decide and feel confident buying/using this set.

I really doubted this would work so I also bought a different extractor kit that had me drill into the bolt. The drill type extraction failed horribly but this set worked 100% as expected and I had rounded my bolt pretty bad so I’m very happy with this purchase.

After trying many solutions to remove a stuck and stripped plug bolt from an engine oil pan (DB Blaster, vice grips, a Gator Grip socket), the 1/2″ piece in this set did the trick and twisted it free. Took a few attempts, but it eventually worked. Just be sure to tap it directly and squarely onto the head of the bolt you’re trying to remove, not at any angle, and use a breaker bar or a longer-handled torque wrench. The whole set will likely come in handy again for future bolt problems! Happy with the quality and results for the price.
