This 10-pack general purpose jig saw blade kit includes blades for clean wood, down cutting, scroll cutting, medium metal and thick metal. DEWALT’s wood cutting blades feature DEWALT’s IRON BLAST TECHNOLOGY, a process that strengthens the blade’s tang to resist fatigue and reduce breaks. DEWALT’s metal cutting blades feature the patented DURA CURVETM curved blade design that removes more material per stroke for up to 2X the life.

Tool balances pretty well with a large battery and handy for doing 2X4 trimming. The blade depth is great for this job. The downside to the tool is the safety toggles being inconveniently placed making it hard to take advantage of the small size and presumably more “dexterous” ability to to use with one hand while holding the stock with the other. A top mounted “grip” safety switch might help some.
