The only reason I gave it 4 starts and also “do not recommend” is because the extension bit isn’t great. You can avoid this specific kit and get a better deal from one without the extension, then buy a better extension separately. No magnet, no sleeve to hold fasteners… definitely disappointed.

Great starter kit and I really like the socket attachments. Make small repairs around the house very easy to accomplish. I also like the new style interlocking case and how to reinsert the bits when done. Much better case overall than the past dewalt bit set cases.

It would be nice to have a few more phillips head bits, a 3/8″ chuck and fewer square & starred bits

Nice case with extra bits included. Easy to remove and replace bits. Some bits don’t fit a standard 1/4 chuck and requires the use of the included bit holder. The holder is nice but it means u may not be able to use bits in your own screwdrivers in tight places due to the added length of the Dewalt bit holder.
