What a shock when I ordered a 12″ DeWALT 80-tooth blade to fit my 12″ DeWALT miter saw and the blade arrived with a 1″ arbor hole in it, and my DeWALT 12″ miter saw has a 5/8″ arbor. The description and packaging said nothing about arbor size, so like a fool I assumed that a DeWALT product would fit a DeWALT product. Nope. You gotta have an adapter so the 12″ DeWALT miter saw blade will fit a 12″ DeWALT miter saw.So luckily Home Depot had one left in stock. It installed easily and my miter saw finally works as it should.

A pretty good adapter to use on a 1″ arbor blade going onto a 5/8″ spindle saw, which is what the greatest majority of 12″ saws have. Longevity will vary with use and arbor fit. You would think that Dewalt would include an extra one with these saws, but they don’t. You have to go out, find one, and purchase it separately. REALLY Dewalt……….for a couple bucks little part?? C’mon!
