The DEWALT DWASHRIR Impact Ready Shears Attachment is able to cut up to up to 18-Gauge material including but not limited to : sheet metal, corrugated sheet metal, duct, asphalt shingle, steel mesh, vinyl siding, wire, plastics, cardboard and rubber. This tool features a 360° swivel head that allows for maneuverability when cutting. Connects via standard 1/4 in. hex shank. This attachment works with most 18-Volt to 20-Volt impact driver and drills, regardless of brand. Attachment only, drill not included.

I bought this to help me cut steel roofing panels that I installed on my home. It works great on flat pieces, like the trim, but it does have trouble getting over the ribs in the panels. I would up using aviation snips for the ribs of the panels, but the shear attachment to cut panels length-wse and to cut my trim pieces.

I only tried this on light gauge tin it worked great, and is a perfect fit on the DEWALT 20 volt impact. Now I can make cuts without dragging out the air hose and air shears. This will save me time which we all know is money a good tool.

I needed to “rabbit ” proof under my back yard deck … I used 1/2″ grid hardware cloth attached to wooden lattice….. I needed to cut long runs of 18 gauge material….. This tool attached to my DeWalt impact driver make the task very easy and safe … Cutting 12 to 15″ by 10 to 15 ft lenghts of the hardware cloth!
