This is truly a great value. After years a using a back pack styled gas powered leaf blower I chose this one. The price was good and I simply got tired of always fixing/maintaining my gas unit and always mixing the gas etc. I have 1/2 acre yard with lots of oak tree leaves. I have found:Pros:It has plenty of power. Really moves leaves.Is less noisy than the gas units.Can store it in basement or closet (no gas odor).There is absolutely no maintenance (a huge plus in my book). I was always fixing my old blower first and THEN blowing leaves. That took more time. Cons:A tad heavy (not immediately noticeable but you will feel it in your arms after say an hour or two of blowing). Not a big deal though.You need exterior plug access (I have on 3 sides of my house so not an issue for me)..but just be mindful you also need long outside extension cords too but nothing too fancy needed. In sum, this is perfect for a homeowner. Enjoy.

This is the second blower I’ve owned from Dewalt. Has plenty of power and heavy duty, sends leaves and debris flying. Being a woman, 10 lbs. is a little heavier than most hand held blowers but would rather have the power. Love it and highly recommend.

This is a variable speed leaf blower and does not have a vacuum feature. You control the mph & cfm with 3 nozzles and the variable speed control which can be locked by lever at the desired speed volume. The Dewalt brand name comes at about a $40 premium and imo, the performance is mediocre. The leaf blower works but I wish it was higher speed & volume. I hope it will last longer than the B & D blower / vac which preceded my DeWalt purchase.

This blower has tremendous power for an electric model, close to what my short lived Husqvarna 125b gas blower put out. It no longer works after only about 5 uses. The DeWalt is heavy but that’s fine because it’s the weighty and powerful motor that makes it heavy. My main complaint is the handle. Whoever designed the awkward angle obviously has never used any leaf blower. It’s terrible. Most blowers have a long handle that runs parallel to the unit. That thing has it at a 45 degree angle. DUMB! But it sure does blow!!! And there will be no excuses from a dealer about the bad gasoline!
