I wanted a blower with variable speed so I could turn it down when working leaves around a corner of the yard (without blowing them over the fence). I tried a Toro 700 & a Toro 250. They both have variable speed controls, but neither went as low as I’d like (the 250 almost did. But, it’s control wasn’t in a good place to operate it on the fly.).I finally saw a video which suggested this Dewalt goes low. I bought one on HD’s online site. Wow, it’s great. It does go very low. The trigger also lets you pulse it easily (the other blowers seem to be more of either/or proposition. A lot of power, or off. This one you can wiggle your finger rapidly and get some variability, more control.).I also like how the nozzels attach to the end (that Toro 250 required disassembly to insert the nozzle *inside* the tube). With the Dewalt, it’s just a reach to the end of the tube, twist, remove.This blower is a little heavier, bulkier. But, for my requirement to be able to control the leaf blowing better, especially blowing out of a corner, I was happy to find this.

I found this Leaf Blower to be very good at handling most jobs. It is powerful, and easy to maneuver. Cords can be a problem, but the power and reliability is worth it. A little on the heavy side, but not terrible. Works well and gets the job done.

It is light enough for me (i’m a woman) to use to clean everything outdoors that I want. I use it from my wheelchair. I love it, will be a lot easier than trying to sweep dirt, leaves etc.
