This thing has TORQUE ! It drove 3 1/2″ screws in to the studs so fast I had to be careful or I’d run them all the way thru the 2x4s ! Excellent drill, well balanced. They should stock this in stores instead of those front heavy ones.

I had this drill for aproximately a week and it was working nicely. It seems to have a lot of power. The drill was heavier than I thought it would be but felt good in your hand and comfortable. At one point while I was drilling into wood my drillbit got stuck (it was a small bit but not very sharp I must admit) and it was hard to get the drillbit readjusted to the drill. Since you need to use both hands to thighten the keyless chuck, it was kind of fidely.I realised this is not quite the machine that fits my needs and I returned it to go cordless again.

Use this a bit for drilling and driving screws into 2 x 4. Excellent for drilling wood but not as good as an impact driver for driving screws into 2 x 4. A lot of power which requires good trigger control to not strip screw heads when driving screws. If you want to drill through wood then this is good but for driving long 3″ screws into 2 x 4 then I recommend a corded impact driver. I am done with battery tools since they run out of steam pretty quick when driving long screws.

Do not use cheap drill bits with this, because it will destroy them. I had to buy all new quality bits, which worked splendidly.
